EPIC AGRI COMMODITY UPDATE: MAIZE

Maize prices closed higher by 0.44 per cent on Saturday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as a result of a rise in the demand from exporters and poultry industries. At the NCDEX, maize futures for July 2013 contract closed at Rs. 1,368 per quintal, up by 0.44 per cent, after opening at Rs. 1,363 against the previous closing price of Rs. 1,362.
