Cardamom prices touched the upper circuit, rising by 4 per cent on Thursday at the domestic markets on account of good buying support from both exporters and upcountry buyers and also on hopes of improved export demand. At MCX, Cardamom futures for August 2013 contract were trading at Rs. 819.10 per kg, up by 4 per cent, after opening at Rs. 811.20 against the previous closing price of Rs. 787.60.
