Chilli prices closed higher by 2.03 per cent on Monday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as a result of a rise in the export demand for the commodity in the midst of limited supply. At the NCDEX, chilli futures for August 2013 contract closed at Rs. 5,232 per quintal, up by 2.03 per cent, after opening at Rs. 5,050 against the previous closing price of Rs. 5,128.
