On Monday Indian market closed on green note. The Sensex, which spurted to 18,942.06, ended the day with a gain of 266.41 points or 1.43% at 18,896.13. The Nifty closed at 5550.75, slightly off the day's high of 5564.90, recording a gain of 78.95 points or 1.44%.
