Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 1.49% or 285.72 points at 19,407.06.
Japan’s Nikkei added 0.44% or 38.76 points at 8,762.88.
Singapore’s Straits Times gained 0.69% or 20.66 points at 3,019.41.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite jumped 0.69% or 12.56 points at 1,830.35.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted rose 0.26% or 18.69 points at 7,108.73.
